Our PURITY system generates chlorine from ordinary salt through the process of electrolysis.  This process breaks the salt into its basic elements of sodium, and chlorine.  After the chlorine does its disinfecting work it converts back into salt and is recycled back into chlorine as it passes the electrodes, so the same salt is used over and over again.

Your Spa naturally contains some salt, but you'll need to add more salt to your Spa to bring the salinity level to 3,000 PPM. Just 2 cups per 100 gallons.  The salinity of sea water is 12 times stronger and a tear drop is 2.5 times stronger than the salinity you will be using in your spa.  You will not taste the salt in the water.  It is like relaxing in soft silky mineral water.  This low salinity level will not harm your spa or filtration equipment.

PURITY is easily installed to new or existing Spas.  The small generating cell is simply placed in the Spa water and hangs by its cord.  The control box is attached to the cabinet, and the power supply is connected to the Spa equipment inside the cabinet.  An in-line cell is available on request for Spas with 24 hour circulating systems, or you can add our 24 hour spa circulating pump kit model SCPK and have an in-line cell.
